Compliance Manager

Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Security and Corporate Compliance Officer, this position will manage development, implementation, and evaluation of an enterprise-wide, global Corporate Compliance program to include regulatory and financial compliance to reduce operational risk.
This position will require direct supervision of international, regional Corporate Compliance staff in the future.
The incumbent will work closely with the Internal Audit Department, the Legal Department, Global Security, outside counsel, and other functional business areas as the need arises.
The Compliance Manager will work closely with corporate business areas and operating divisions to analyze risk, develop plans to mitigate risk, and monitor progress of mitigation efforts.
Responsibilities
• Assisting the Corporate Compliance Officer, identify and diagnose where compliance activities are required. Identify and highlight critical compliance areas where immediate action is needed and prioritize resolution of these criticalities.
• Conduct a baseline assessment of compliance activities and develop systematic methods of improving compliance in all necessary areas.
• Develop and coordinate the implementation of compliance activity where it is needed but otherwise absent or unsatisfactory.
• Manage, develop and mentor international, regional Corporate Compliance staff at the division level.
• Work with executives and business area representatives to improve their understanding of strategic and operational compliance and the business benefits it will bring.
• At the direction of the Corporate Compliance Officer, report to the CEO, Audit Committee and/or the Corporate Board on matters of compliance importance and/or investigative findings.
• Provide compliance guidance on key projects and in multidisciplinary working groups.
• Become a participating member of the Ethics and Compliance Committee.
• Develop and deploy educational resources to aid in compliance education and training at the corporate and division levels.
• Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 10 years corporate compliance experience.
OR
Master’s Degree and a minimum of 8 years corporate compliance experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
JD strongly preferred with experience in regulatory compliance.
Corporate compliance experience in a diversified global company.
Previous management or supervisory experience
Excellent working knowledge of FCPA, HIPAA, PCI standards, OSHA, SOX, FCRA, ACH Compliance, and global corporate governance.
Previous Audit or Risk Management experience
Demonstrated managerial and corporate compliance experience.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook
