Surveillance Compliance Analytics Manager, VP

Our client is a top-tier investment bank.
The firm has a need for a Surveillance Compliance Analytics Manager within The Compliance Surveillance Strategies Group.
He/she will be responsible for:
„X Designing and developing complex, profile based, surveillances with a strong emphasis on the analytical models that are used for information breach surveillances e.g., insider trading.
„X Leading global Compliance initiatives focused on business process restructuring
The group performs business analysis functions and in doing so, the group works closely with Compliance Senior Management, Compliance Officers, Business and Technology organizations to define, prioritize and lead various initiatives.
Summary of the Role:
The Business Analyst will be participating in surveillance design and business process restructuring projects. In the role they will perform the following tasks:
„X Analyze surveillance and business issues and develop creative solutions
„X Work with the team to apply statistical concepts / models to surveillance design across all product types such as equity, fixed income, credit derivatives and structured (candidate does not necessarily need to be able to build statistical models)
„X Define criteria for technology automations, write detail technology specifications and work with Technology and Compliance teams to implement final solutions.
